Founded in Germany, the first edition of the"Christian Finger Band " featured John Goldsby on bass, Frank Wunsch on piano, with guest soloists Lee Konitz and Matthias Nadolny.

The CD was recorded at Topaz Studios by Reinhardt Kobialka in Cologne/Germany in October 2000. Featuring living jazz legend Lee Konitz on alto and soprano sax, John Goldsby on bass, Christian Finger on drums/composition and Frank Wunsch on piano, the CD was very well received by the jazz world.
